Summer Fun

We have had few opportunities for fun this summer. I have been in school pretty much everyday since the first of June. It was a hard summer for me. I feel I missed so much. However, I am so thankful for a camera that can capture the happiness of my children! They enjoyed our time together that much more.

We went to a Hello Kitty Luau for a friends little girl. The kids had so much fun.

Summer Garden

So, we had a beautiful summer garden the month of June. We had yellow and green squash, corn, sunflowers, jalepeno peppers, and tomatoes. Then July hit and the ants ate the corn and the sun killed everything else! So, no more summer gardening for us here in Texas.

Keldon's Preschool Graduation

Keldon graduated from Preschool on June 21, 2009. They had a graduation cerimony and lunch reception afterwards. It was so cute! Everyone got to walk across the stage and received a bible and certificate. Keldon was so proud of his new bible. I took a few pictures of the performance, but it was too far for my flash.

The teachers took pictures of all the kids in the cap and gown and put them on the cake. It was such a clever idea.

Update

I am just going to take a quick minute to let everyone know that we are still here! I have been so busy with school, that the I generally don't have time for the basics (like eating and sleeping). While my hips and stomach are thanking me, my family is not. I get two cling-ons the second I walk in the door. So, I am going to try to post pictures tonight and a little about what we have been up to. Please don't think that I am just ignoring everyone!
