So, this was Katie's first bluebonnet experience. She did wonderful at first. Then she got a little too curious!

Check out the eyes. I am pretty sure she all of a sudden realized she was sitting in a field of flowers!

"Ooo, I can touch the flowers!"

"Hum, maybe just a little nibble won't hurt anything. This one does not even have any flowers on it."

"Now wait, the good stuff is over there."

"No one will see if I just maybe try this one right here. . ."

Mommy: "Katie bug, what are you doing? Are you eating flowers?"
Katie bug: "Who me, oh no of course not."

Katie bug: "Well, maybe a little bite"

"Okay, it was a big bite!"

"But look how cute I am. No one will mind just this one flower."

"WHEW WEEE. They only look pretty!"

The Bluebonnets Are Here!!

We finally had a quick minute to stop along the side of the road, dash in front of a few cars, walk a drain ditch (hoping not to find any snakes) and get a few bluebonnet pictures. I am really happy with them. I hope to get some printed out, but it may take me until next month. School is really demanding at the moment. So for now, this will have to do!

Keldon's Birthday Party

We cannot believe Keldon is already 5! It was a big deal for him. He asked us for about the last six months straight when he would be five. I guess he feels like a big boy now. Here are some pictures from his pool party.

Keldon's Party at the Park

Keldon celebrated his 5th birthday with some friends at the park. It was a great day. The kids loved decorating cupcakes and playing.

A Day at the Park

The weather has been so nice. We have spent lots of time outside lately. Here are some pictures from a playgroup on day a few weeks ago. You can see Katie's front teeth in one picture!
