Katie in the Sink

One day I was getting ready to bathe Katie in the tub when it occured to me that she totally fit in the sink. I promptly ran for my camera and posed her in the sink. She then resumed her bath in the tub!

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. We ended up having a small party at my house. There was lots of great food and the kids all looked great in their costumes.

Katie was such a happy ladybug!

It is hard work being this cute!

Katie Bug our Lady Bug

Karin and Arthur came to visit us the week of Halloween. Arthur is such a cutie. Love the blue eyes and that smile!

Katie fell asleep first! She was so tired from being pushed around in the stroller during trick-or-treating.

Katie with the first costume fitting. She was not too sure of the hat.

Keldon had to be non other than Darth Vader. He was just the cutest (and strong and brave) Darth Vader.

Katie's Blessing Day

Katie's blessing day was so special to me. My grandma got a chance to fly here for it. I am glad she finally got to meet Katie. Katie is named after her and she made the blessing dress. It was a beautiful day with family and friends around to celebrate with us.

Keldon's New Toy

Grandpa Richard decided to surprise the grandkids and bought a go cart for them. Keldon loves driving it. He especially loved giving rides to Natalie and Nathan (who were not so sure about driving yet). He is such a natural driver. I am impressed now, but worry about what this means in the future! I guess I should start saving now for his first car! He really did a great job with very little instruction. He is a natural!

Scooby Doo

Keldon loves Scooby Doo. We got to go to a Scooby Doo carnival in Dripping Springs near my parent's house. Keldon loved it. It took him a couple of minutes to warm up to Shaggy, but once he did there was not stopping him. He asked me everyday for about a week when we were going to see them. He said we needed to take snacks for them, because they always eat. He also wanted to make sure he had seen all their shows so he could tell them. He loved it! The money from the carnival helped a group that raises dogs to help the handicap.

Katie's Hospital Visit

It has just been a crazy couple of weeks. So, I am going back a few weeks here. Katie decided to stop eating a few weeks ago and ended up in the hospital. They ran several tests on her and never could determine what the cause was. They said it could have just been a virus or one of those unknown things. Either way, it was scary for me. She did so well though. She never stopped smiling at me, no matter how many times they poked her or how many tests they ran. It comforted me that she knew I was there. She still seemed to feel safe with me. She would not let me put her down. She is such a strong, happy little girl. I know she will bring much happiness to many people in her lifetime. Thank you to all who helped us during that horrible week. I do not know what I would do without my friends and family here.
